Candle base leaks when nearing the end
"Over the years I have bought 5 of these candles, but recently I have had 3 of them completely fail. Once the candle has about 25% or so left, it seems to melt some seal on the bottom, spilling wax on whatever is underneath. The first time this happened, this ruined the fabric tablecloth I had under it. I chalked it up to a fluke and kept using my others, only to have another fail in the exact same way and ruin a different tablecloth. With my last one I burned it in a bowl just in case and sure enough it failed too. For a candle this expensive it’s actually insane for it to be wasted at the end, not to mention the hazard of hot wax spilling everywhere. Will never buy again, and it’s a shame because obviously I loved these! It’s inexcusable to have such a fragile base design - a candle has one job, holding hot wax! Just wanted to warn others that this candle is poorly made and a hazard."
