- Great question! Our candles are made with a soy-based wax that does contain some paraffin wax. This is to ensure they burn safely and are fragrant in your spaces. All of our fragrances are primarily essential oils, but we do use a few synthetic fragrance elements to make sure you get the most fragrant candle. All of our candles are free of formaldehyde, phthalates, and animal-sourced ingredients making them safe, as well as cruelty-free.
