From valley to mountains, waterfalls to wildlife, and spanning over 1,580 square miles, it's hard to go wrong when exploring this park! These are a few can't-miss recommendations to get you started: 

GOING-TO-THE-SUN ROAD: This road covers 50 miles of beautiful glaciers, waterfalls, and landscapes!

LAKE MCDONALD: The largest lake in the park.

GOAT HAUNT: Take a short boat ride to get here!

TRAIL OF THE CEDARS: This boardwalk trail is perfect for a quick sightseeing adventure to Avalanche Gorge!

HIGH LINE TRAIL: Cling to the rocks while you get an overhead view of lots of must-see areas.

ICEBERG LAKE: A stunning hike to a crystal blue lake!

ST. MARY FALLS: Stop at the falls or continue on the Virginia Falls for another stunning waterfall.

In and around the park, Glacier is home to delicious food and brews! At many locations, you can grab a local beer for a great price to go along with some area staples like bison, trout or Montana huckleberries! Check out these recs:

    MISSOULA FARMERS MARKET: Brush elbows with  friendly locals while grabbing local goods!

    EDDIE'S CAFE & MERCANTILE: A quick stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Also has a view of Lake McDonald, a gift shop and lots of camping supplies.

    SUNFLOWER CAFE:  Stop by for the best hot coffee, brunch, sammies and BBQ around the park. Great to-go options for on-the-trail lunches.

    PTARMIGAN DINING ROOM: Doesn't take reservations, but food and panoramic views are worth the wait.

    FLATHEAD LAKE BREWING CO: This brewery and pub-house is located on Flathead lake and serves up local beers + a wide array of shareable plates, burgers, and more!

    GLACIER HIGHLAND: Enjoy a burger for lunch or a slice of their famous huckleberry pie for dessert!
