We at DesignWorks Collective are heartbroken by the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Our thoughts are with all those affected, and we want to extend our support during this challenging time.

In response to this tragedy, we are committed to doing our part to help our community recover. We invite everyone to join us in this effort—whether through donations, volunteering, or sharing information about available resources.

WCK MISSION

WCK is currently operating in four states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Fueled by their Chef Corps members, restaurant and food truck partners, and volunteers, WCK is working shoulder-to-shoulder with local communities to blanket the devastated region with much needed food and water aid.

Humane Society

Animal Rescue Team is working tirelessly in multiple locations across the Southeastern United States to help animals in need following the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene.

Their team is operating a mobile veterinary clinic to help sick or injured animals and is working on setting up a temporary shelter to care for some of the animals that need us most.

Donations made here will go to the nonprofits already working to meet the immediate needs of the people affected by this storm such as providing food, water, cleaning supplies and other urgent needs.

Operation Airdrop

Volunteer pilots are flying their own personal aircraft to bring thousands of pounds of food, water, medical necessities, and personal hygiene items to areas of eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina made inaccessible by flooding and debris.

They have established a base at Concord Regional Airport in Concord, North Carolina.

Global Empowerment Mission

Their team will be providing large scale aid supplies to community members affected by this disaster. This will include water, food, cleaning supplies, tarps, pet supplies, hygiene supplies, and more.

GEM is also making smaller aid runs by vehicle and helicopter to rural zones and cut-off communities. Their team is also providing evacuation services.

Mercy Chefs is set up at Destiny Community Church in Newberry, Florida.

They are serving warm meals for both lunch and dinner from this location. They ask for any volunteers to help tackle the magnitude of need throughout the region.

Second Harvest of South Georgia is the leading hunger-relief organization in the region and the largest rural food bank in the state.

With branches in Valdosta, Thomasville, and Tifton, they serve 26 counties in south central and southwest Georgia.
