In the mood for a scenic drive? Or an all-day walk through the forest? Experience the Redwoods in all their beauty with some of our favorite explorations:

TALL TREES GROVE: Home to the world’s tallest tree, Hyperion. This 4-mile trail is a must for visiting Redwood!

HOWLAND HILL ROAD: Take a scenic drive through Redwood! Roll down the windows and take in the beauty as you drive through the heart of the park.

LADY BIRD JOHNSON GROVE: Named after the former first lady and parks activist, Lady Bird Johnson! This trail is filled with informational signs, so you’ll leave an expert on the park.

TRILLIUM FALLS: Get the best view of the magnificent, 10-foot tall Trillium Falls.

KLAMATH RIVER OVERLOOK: Switch things up and head to the coast. In late Winter and early Spring, you might get lucky and spot some migrating whales!

Wondering where to grab a bite?

Redwood National Park covers a large part of the coastal Northern California region. You can find some great places to fuel up in the surrounding cities! Here are some of our favorites:

  • Quick Snacks

CENTRAL SANDWICH: A local favorite, Central Sandwich is an easy spot for a filling sammy in between adventures.

WILDBERRIES MARKETPLACE: Grab some fresh produce or a sandwich to go! This is a great spot if you’re looking for something fresh to eat or drink.

  • Casual Dining

GOOD HARVEST CAFE: Stop by the cafe for a hearty breakfast before setting out to the trails! You’ll find something for everyone here.

CAFE BRIO: Known for their freshly squeezed orange juice and daily-baked pastries, this is a great place to slow down in the mornings.

  • A Bit Nicer

VI RESTAURANT: Located in Ferndale, CA, this hotel restaurant is the perfect spot for a glass of wine and dinner in town.

CAFE WATERFRONT: Craving seafood? Stop here for a craft cocktail and delicious oysters while you take in the view of the Harbor!
