"This thing has been a nightmare for me. It plugs in and heats up to make steam, but it bubbles so fiercely that the water literally shoots upward and then practically pours out the sides of the diffuser and all over the surface it’s on. I have had to clean up so many messes trying to figure out the problem. Unfortunately, it damaged a bit of the wood on my night table. Either all the 5-star reviews are fake, or I got a lemon. I tried contacting customer service this morning, but no one called me back. It’s that day after new year, so I hope it’s that everyone is on vacation and not that the company is ignoring me. I got it as a Christmas gift, so I will have to have an awkward conversation with the grifter about how they get their money back. As an aside, the instructions say to put almost half a bottle of essence into the chamber, but that is WAY too much. You would burn your lungs. 5-10 drops are more than enough."

"I've had 4+ diffusers, and this one is definitely the best one I've had. I've never had any problems with it, it's easy to clean, spreads the scent throughout a large area and looks really lovely."

"Purchased as a gift in a shop in Kennebunk, Maine and surprise it appears part C is missing and the diffuser just spits out water. MESSY!! There is no help on this site or design breakdown to check the diffuser. Very disappointing purchase. Packaging was intact, not previously opened. Too bad......very sad......"

"This black diffuser is sleek and elegant, and is used inside my bathroom. Its diffusing capabilities are fully functional overall, and it's a decent value for the price. The low/high and intermittent functions work well, once you figure out how to turn the diffuser on. My only issue with this diffuser is with the unclear instructions, as other reviews may have mentioned. The instructions state that it can be turned on by pressing the "HIGH/LOW" button, when in fact my model is turned on not by this method, but by pressing the "MIST" button. Once I figured this out, it works fine."

"Your Black Diffuser is lovely and I won’t ever be without it, but it had NO intelligible instructions. Will not buy or suggest it again. My husband and I are both IT and mechanical engineers, but it took us total guesswork to figure out how to use your product. While it’s true we’re of a bygone era, where diffusers used candles-rather than electricity, you have to remember that us baby boomers are numerous. And we have money to spend. So please give a thought to us older folks, yes? Many of us don’t have the younger generation’s vocabulary and no kids to teach it to us. Thanks for listening. Please — better instructions for us! We need them; those younger who are familiar will just ignore them!"

"I'm very pleased with this purchase. It has a very nice design and looks nice enough to display in any room of the house. It works very well emitting a good amount of mist and fragrance, better than some I have owned in the past. It does not run as long as advertised but the intermittent function runs much longer. The cord is also a good length, often that is not the case with many of these diffusers. I would buy it again for another room."
