Holiday Cocktail Recipes
We teamed up with our good friend and owner of Wild Artifact, Kat Wolle to bring you holiday confections that demand your affection! From the Cranberry Rosé to the Sweet Orange + Fir, you'll love these cocktails of that we're sure!
Each recipe signifies one cocktail. Simply multiply the recipe if you would like to make two or a batch! Specific liquors are recommended by Kat based on tasting notes, but feel free to experiment and use what you have at home.
Now let's have some fun!
Cranberry Rosé
1 oz Roku Gin
1/2 oz. Meletti Amaro
1/2 oz Unsweet Cranberry Juice
1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
Sparkling Rosé
Fill shaker with ice - add ingredients minus the Sparkling Rosé - shake for 30 seconds and pour into glass with fresh ice - top with Sparking Rosé and garnish with sugared cranberries!
Wassail
2 oz Fresh Orange Juice
1 oz Fresh Cranberry Juice
1 oz Apple Cider
2 Cinnamon Sticks
3 Whole Cloves
2 Whole Star Anise
1/2 oz Italicus Liqueur (Bergamot)
1 1/2 oz Aged or Spiced Rum
Combine cider, orange juice, cranberry juice, cinnamon, clove and anise on stove and warm up to desired temp - pour into glass - garnish with cinnamon stick - optional: add whipped cream to the top, then garnish!
White Woods
2 oz Bourbon (Bulleit/Woodford)
5 Dashes Dark Walnut Bitters
1/2 oz Peppermint Schnapps
1 Egg
1 tbs Brown Sugar
4 oz Warmed Whole Milk
1 Fresh Vanilla Bean
2 Cinnamon Sticks
Combine milk, brown sugar, vanilla bean and cinnamon sticks and heat slowly on the stove - pour the rest of the ingredients into cocktail shaker - add milk - shake vigorously or use electric whisk to froth and combine the egg into drink - pour into glass - garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon powder or if you want a lil spice, chili powder!
Sweet Orange + Fir
2 oz Rye Whiskey
1 oz Grand Marnier
0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
0.5 oz Fresh Orange Juice
2 Tsp Grenadine (Fresh Juice)
3 Bourbon Cherries
Combine ingredients into shaker with ice - shake for 30 seconds - strain into glass - garnish with speared bourbon cherries.
Balsam + Fir
1.5 oz Bristow Gin
6-8 Mint Leaves
1 Sprig Rosemary
Spoonful of Brown Sugar
1.5 oz Orange Slices
Club Soda
Place all ingredients minus the gin in the bottom of the glass - muddle together - add ice, pour in gin, top with club soda - garnish with rosemary sprig and charred orange slice.
Persimmon + Chestnut
1 oz Cognac (Godet VSOP Original)
1 oz Spiced Pear Liquer
0.5 oz Dry Curaçao
0.25 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
0.5 oz Cranberry Cinnamon Simple
Pour ingredients into shaker with ice - shake for 30 seconds - strain into glass with fresh ice - garnish with lemon twist.
